Colorsun Warranty Policy

At Colorsun, we are committed to providing high-quality DTF printing solutions and exceptional after-sales support. Please review our warranty and return guidelines below.

Section One - Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Mainboard

  • DTF Printers: The mainboard is covered by a 6-month warranty starting from the shipment date. Within this period, customers are eligible for one (1) replacement.

1.2 Print Head and Ink-Contact Components

Upon warranty registration, the following print heads are covered by a 3-month warranty period from the shipment date (limited to one replacement):

  • Supported Models: I3200-HD
  • Note: Other print head models or components that come into direct contact with ink (such as dampers, capping stations, and ink tubes) are not covered by the warranty.

1.3 Other Accessories

All other non-consumable accessories are covered by a 12-month warranty from the shipment date of your Colorsun printer.

1.4 Critical Disclaimers

To maintain your warranty eligibility, please note:

  • Ink Requirement: The warranty for ink-contact components is only valid if the printer exclusively uses Colorsun brand inks. Damages or print head blockages resulting from the use of third-party inks will void the warranty.
  • Verification: All damages must be confirmed by the Colorsun technical support team or engineers as non-user-induced.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages caused by user negligence, improper operation, or misuse.

2. Warranty Costs & Shipping

  • Within 1 Month of Receipt: If a component is confirmed damaged within the first month after delivery, Colorsun will provide the replacement part and cover all shipping fees.
  • After 1 Month of Receipt: For warranty claims reported after the first month, Colorsun will provide the replacement part free of charge, but the shipping fees shall be borne by the customer.

Section Two - Return & Exchange Policy

We offer a limited window for returns to ensure our equipment remains in pristine condition for all users:

  • Eligibility: Returns/exchanges are only accepted within one week (7 days) of receipt.
  • Condition: The printer must be in its original packaging and must NOT have had any ink added.
  • Important: Once ink has been introduced into the printer system, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges.

Section Three - Post-Warranty Services

For customers whose equipment is beyond the 12-month warranty period, Colorsun offers continued support through our extended service programs:

  1. Remote Expert Service: Technical troubleshooting and guidance from our senior engineers.
  2. Extended Warranty Programs: Flexible plans to provide long-term peace of mind for your production.
